  Ingredients:
1 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 c butter, softened
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 c oats (quick or old-fashioned), uncooked
12 oz pkg (2 cups) butterscotch flavored morsels

  Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375º. In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour mixture. Stir in the oats and butterscotch morsels. Spread in a greased 15- by 10- by 1-inch baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool; cut into two-inch squares.

35 squares

  History:

People LOVE these whenever I take them somewhere. If you want to use a 15- by 10- by 3/4-inch pan, omit the baking soda.
